Abstract
In Oita National College of Technology, students have to take the other subject related to their specialty. Students except for the department of mechanical engineering were taken a class of Mechatronics. This subject was implemented PBL (Problem-Based Learning) for practical Mechatronics education. The author had taken the lesson to be a PBL facilitator at Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore. In Singapore, advanced attempt for PBL have been going in 1990s. In this paper, our attempt for PBL in Mechatronics education was introduced. As a result of implemented the PBL, student's autonomy of learning was raised up obviously.
