Abstract
The research & development center of Takasago Thermal Engineering Co., Ltd. is keeping and exhibiting so-called Takasago and Ebara Type Centrifugal Refrigerating Machine as the first Centrifugal Refrigerating Machine made in Japan. This centrifugal refrigerating machine has been approved as the mechanical engineering heritage 2010 by JSME. In this paper, we report about how it was developed in Japan and its detail technical items. Furthermore, we introduce about great contributions by Mr. Masanosuke Yanagimachi who developed Takasago and Ebara Type Centrifugal Refrigerating Machine.
