137 Systemization of water-jet technology : on decontamination using a self-propelled robot

Abstract

After the Tohoku Earthquake of 2011, the decontamination of radioactive materials from the contaminated areas is a prime task, and the safe and efficient decontamination methods have been required. This paper describes a new system of water-jet technology on the decontamination of radioactive materials using a self propelled robot, The effective decontamination has been achieved by this system. The development of this system will be desired for the efficient and stable decontamination of radioactive materials hereafter.
