Implementation of STEAM education through the subject "Metal Working and Practice" at the Department of Technology Education in the Faculty of Education

Abstract

Industrial products such as home appliances and automobiles etc. are composed of many parts with various functions and assembled with a lot of threaded screw joints. Aiming to develop teaching materials in the "Materials and Processing Technology" section of the junior high school technology classes, we provided university students with hands-on experience in selecting materials and processing methods from the viewpoint of STEAM education in the "Metal Working and Practice" specialized subject in the metal processing field at the Department of Technology Education in the Faculty of Education.
