This report deals the development of pneumatically actuated welfare system, i. e., an assist system for human walk by using the pneumatic linear action cylinders as an actuator. In generally, the pneumatic actuator is light weight and has soft characteristics when it moves and these features seem to be suitable for human cooperating systems, although the pump (compressor) is additionally needed. The proposed pneumatically actuated assist system is composed with tree devices, that is, the orthosis actuated by pneumatic cylinder, the shoes having force sensors in the sole and the electric control circuit which decides the pneumatically assist timing. The evaluation how the system comforts the human in the some different fields is described.
