A study on the hydrogen embrittlement fracture behavior of high strength steel was carried out using round bar and thin walled hollow specimens, of which stress state would be plane strain condition and plane stress condition respectively. Cathodic hydrogen charging was used for introducing hydrogen in the specimen under sustained load conditions. As the thickness of the walled of hollow specimens became thin, the delayed fracture time showed the tendency that became long.
