In this paper, we deal with an isothermal plane elastic problem of an inhomogeneous medium. As an analytical model, we consider the plane elastic problem for a semi-infinite medium with a Griffith crack in arbitrary position subject to uniformly distributed internal pressure on the crack surfaces. Making use of the fundamental equations system, which is already established in our previous paper, the analytical solution for such singular stress field is successfully developed. The elastic behaviors are evaluated through the numerical calculations.
