Abstract
This research aims at the development of the heat engine using Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) which worked in low temperature. SMA works in low temperature and small difference in temperature. The heat engine developed by this research makes SMA shrink at the timing of the interval. Output power is measured at various conditions. And, it checks about the character to explain the response of SMA to use for the heat engine. The new engine shows about five times higher output power, comparing the conventional reciprocating heat engine which has a crank chain.
