Abstract
When the youths who have originated in foreign countries, demonstrate some activities with their unique perspectives as ethnic minorities, certain kinds of awareness would be brought to the host society. In this study, I point out some awareness which could be the result of the performance-activities of the non-native youths, taking examples on a rap musician and community radio DJ, through the analysis by KJ method on their speeches. I found the possibility of the following four awareness brought into the host society; recognition the individuality; understanding of the background; recognition of diversity and mobility of viewpoints; and the relative viewpoints for own culture.
