The lightweight concrete for precast concrete curtain wall should have such properties as low slump, high density and early high strength, etc.
This report describes (1) the results of the compressive strength tests of concrete with various mixes, (2) the comparison of properties between the synthetic lightweight aggregate concrete and the normal concrete regarding their compressive, tensile, and flexural strengths, permeability, absorption, drying shrinkage and durability, (3) the results of the vibration test on full size panels, and (4) some application examples of such curtain walls.
