In the present study, the temperature dependence of elastic moduli of aluminum alloy, nickel-steel, and stainless steel has been determined by use of the resonant frequency method.
The classical static method of determining elastic modulus has drawbacks at high temperature, owing to the presence of creep and relaxation effects. The dynamic methods are much more prevalent. This determination is obtained nondestructively with minimum number of specimens.
