Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence the parties' conflict perceptions
in inter-company conflicts of the outsourcing. The survey was conducted through semi-structured
interviews with a total of 24 participants from the supplying and receiving company. Words in the
interview data were categorized as classified terms and analyzed by text mining. The results of the
analysis suggest that the parties recognize conflicts from divergent interpretations and recognize
convergence by exploring the room for agreement. The implications of this study may help to
effectively spread conflict management to corporate activities in Japan.
