A Study on How to Get University Students to See Plays and Musicals Under the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Our research question is; What can we do to encourage university students who do not go to see plays and musicals to see them, even under the COVID-19 Pandemic? As a result of our verification, we found that; (1) Information should be disseminated through social media to lower hurdles to going to theater and to solve lack of information, (2) Under the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is important to utilize cinema screenings (Live Viewing) and online distribution as a way of first exposing to university students theater. We have found these steps to be useful.
