In vitro antibacterial activity of latamoxef sodium (LMOX) was studies on 90 clinical isolates of gram-positive and gram-negative anaerobes. LMOX has a wide antibacterial spectrum against representative positive and gram-negative anaerobes, and is particularly active against clinical isolates of Peptococcus inagnus and Propionibacterium spp.
