Abstract
Although it is said that patients with the chief complaint of temporomandibular disorders (TMD), such as pain in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and/or masticatory muscles and functional abnormalities, have recently increased in number, there have been no established guidelines on routines for examination, diagnosis, or treatment of TMD.
