Abstract
From the viewpoint of efficiency in industrial activities, accurate mass measurement under vibration-like moving conditions is important and there exist some researches on this field. In our previous paper, numerical simulations and experiments with a simple experimental apparatus certified the effectiveness of the proposed weighing method. This weighing method basically needs the weighing loadcell and the 4 loadcells which observe the vibration-like movements. These loadcells are called as the dummy cells. However, suitable placement of the dummy cells makes accurate mass measurement possible, which uses the weighing loadcells and only 3 dummy cells. As the step for a practical application, the development of the weighing system with 3 dummy cells is attractive and interesting. In this paper, the mass measurement which uses 3 dummy cells is analyzed and the effectiveness of this mass measurement is confirmed both by numerical simulations and by weighing experiments with an experimental system. As a result, the effectiveness of the mass measurement is verified.
