Robotic Spine Surgery: History, Current Situation, and Future Perspective Based on Our Early Experience

Abstract

This paper described the comparison among 3 robotic systems which is now used in Japan in 2022. We started to use ExcelsiusGPS (Globus Medical) since December, 2021. The system is the most suitable for our operation theater. Safety, the cost-performance and education for young spine surgeons are the critical issues. We must consider the merit and demerit when we use robotic system.
