Abstract
We have been constructing two databases, "The Chloroplast Net (http://chloroplast.net)" and "The Small RNA Net (http://smallRNA.net)".
The Chloroplast Net is the database of chloroplast/photosynthesis-related genes in rice, and contains all genes encoded by the rice chloroplast genome and more than 1700 nuclear genes encoding the chloroplast components. These genes are easy to found using several search systems in The Chloroplast Net.
The Small RNA Net is the database of plant small RNA genes, such as tRNA and snRNA. In the Small RNA Net, we present more than 900 tRNA genes with their secondary structures that are predicted from whole rice genome using our original program (seqtrn02), and provide the services of tRNA prediction using seqtrn02.
