Informatics of plant resources in RIKEN BRC

Abstract

RIKEN BRC is engaged in the National BioResource Project to preserve and distribute Arabidopsis seeds, plant cultured cells and plant DNA materials in order to promote plant science in the world. In this report, we present following subjects on the informatics of plant resources in RIKEN BRC:
1. Development of SABRE DB that connect plant cDNA resources with genomic information of Arabidopsis (already available from Jun. 07)
2. Revision of RAFL clone DB in accordance with the TAIR 7 annotation (already finished in Oct. 07)
3. Revision of SASSC resources to add genotype and phenotype information
4. Development of Cassava full-length cDNA clone DB
5. Revision of Tobbacco cDNA clone DB to add new clone data
6. Development of Thellungiella halophila full-length cDNA DB
