Abstract
In higher plants, the ability to sense carbon (C) and nitrogen (N) metabolites enables plants to regulate metabolism and development in response to their intracellular balance of C and N (C/N). To clarify the C/N regulator, we isolated C/N insensitive mutant cni2-D (carbon and nitrogen insensitive 2-D). Characterization of CNI2 will be reported.
