Comparison between Extracted Points from High Density DEM by Iris Filter and Inundation Area

Abstract

In this letter, we propose a extraction method of high density DEM (Digital Elevation Model) in inundation area. The proposed method is performed by using iris filter. Through the experiments using 5.0m mesh DEM, we prove the effectiveness of the proposed method. Finally, we comment on the respects in which the proposed method is improved and on future prospects.
