Abstract

This paper describes the infrared camera (thermal camera) principles and the camera's recent progress. The accomplishment of thermal imaging with real-time picture presentation represents a significant advance in nondestructive testing. Today infrared cameras are used for various purposes; thermal analysis of electronic equipment, search for thermal pollution, diagnostic exploration, geological survey, etc.
