Abstract

Intrusive rock, may-be of Mesozoic, is found widely over the southern part of Hida plateau region, central Japan.
By means of photographic interpretation method, writer studied from various angles linerments of this area, and then compar d statistically joints and fractures in this rock-body through field observation with these linerments.
In this case, they were projected on Schmidt-net for finding the interdependence of dips and strikes, and the effect of dips to linerments.
The result showed that about 65 per-cent of the joints and fractures of rock-body are found as linerments on the surface.
