Aerial photographs are applied to geological studies in Yaku Island and northern mountainous district by Oze plain. The information interpreted from photographs is compared with the geological field data.
As the result, the auther found the followings;
1) The main direction of drainage analyzed from photographs is consistent with the main direction of weak zone, especially in the Granite mass, of Yaku Island.
2) In northern mountainous district by Oze plain, vegetation seems to corespond with distribution of rocks.
Future studies will be able to generalize these phenomena.
