In these days, the lens distortion can be easily compensated with the generalization of the analytical aero triangulation. However, in case of mapping through stereo-model (including measurement of points) only the correction plate would be available for the compensation of the lens distortion, earth curvature and air refraction.
We have, therefore, checked approximate compensation values of the Aviogon Correction Plate No.210 and No.234 using Wild A-7. This checking method was as follows: Firstly, we set the Wild Grid Plate No.841 on A-7 and recorded the intersection of the grid. (At that time; f=150mm, z=300mm, k=0, ψ= 0, ω=0) Secondly, we set the same Grid Plate on the Aviogon Correction Plate No.210 and No.234 and recorded the intersection of the grid in the same way. Then, we calculated the difference of coordinates between the both values and checked the tendency of the compensation values.
