Abstract
The object of this experiment is to make up data for stress analysis on the model which is of the first lattice shell type of constructions in Japan. This experiment is one of the serially schemed experiments to build this construction.
The main purpose of this experiment is to measure the deformations of L.S. under various loads applied to the model by using stereo-photos. The another purpose is to get accurate three-dimensional coordinates of knots of the model. Here we report how the parallax method (Cameron Effect) is adopted for determination.
We have had rather satisfactory results for plane, that is mean square error ±0.2 mm, maximum error 0.5mm (7μ on the negative) . But for height, it is not so good, m.s.e. ±0.5mm, max. 1.0mm (H/3500) . Though we can use these results for plane deformation, we will continue to study further for height deformation of deformation.
