The authors have developed a method of simultaneous adjustment to determine the exterior orientation parameters of a single photograph together with X, Y, Z-coordinates of unknown points using the additional distance observations obtained from the geodetic survey.
The photogrammetric method combined with constrained condition of the distance, which has been developed in this research, shows remarkable efficiency so that the control point survey becomes more easy by utilizing a known length such as the staff or tape which has to be photographed.
This paper discusses a method of simultaneous adjustment in the case that the two rulers were taken on a photograph.
