Abstract
Pushbroom scan will be used widely in future high resolution imaging spectrometer. What is the reason? Why will not be used the mechanical scan for high resolution? In this paper, comparison of signal integration time was done and it was shown that the pushbroom scan is the ultimate scan scheme from the viewpoint of integration time. Then the parametric estimations of resolution power of each scanning scheme were performed. In each scan scheme, we are reaching to the performance limit.
