Abstract
One of the important responsibilities of a pharmacist is to prevent dispensing errors. Even if the drug is delivered after sufficient confirmation, the patient may later inquire about the drug error. In this case, there are few methods for confirming the correctness drug errors. Therefore, we introduced a system that records dispensing drug inspection in a video. We investigated that the current status of inquiries regarding dispensing errors and the psychological impact of the recording system on pharmacists. There were 133 complaints of dispensing errors from patients, and 102 of them were confirmed to be correctly dispensed using the system. With the introduction of the system, more pharmacists feel nervous and troublesome that drug inspection must be performed within the scope of shooting. On the other hand, when a patient complained about a dispensing error, many pharmacists answered that they were relieved because there was a way to confirm the facts. This recording system makes it possible to respond in a factual manner. In other words, we think that it can contribute to the proper use of drugs.
