Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate what kind of street furnitures there are in a commercial district and how relation between street furnitures and environmental elements is.In this investigation we choosed the distirict around EBISUBASHI and three shopping districts of DOTONBORI-GARDEN ROAD, SHINSAIBASHI UJI and EBISUBASHISUJl as subject districts. As it turned out, street furnitures have some kind of difference between the distirict around EBISUBASHI and three shopping districts. Particularly, street furnitures at the distirict around EBISUBASHI form peculiarity of a space. And a atomsphere of space has much to do with arrangement of street furnitures.
