Abstract
The purpose of the current research is to reveal characteristics of the existing urban environmental installations, aiming to search and develop types of urban environmental installations, as well as their planning and their design methodology. As research objective, the actual conditions of installed bollards in downtown streets, was conducted. Based on the manufacture, maintenance, and aesthetic points of view, the following results were abstracted; regarding the connection between the respective points of view listed above, product organization [standarization and systematizationl, as well as a methodological implementation are necessary in the continuing production and use of bollards.
