Abstract
Kinetic Typography is typographical animation on conputer screen. Compared with fixed typography printed on paper, kinetic typography has sevral new features in communi-cation with kinetic motions. This reserch persues possibilities of Japanese kinetic typography. Japanese kinetic typography can emphasize a meaninig of each block letter and has kinetic motion grammer for effetive communication tool. Kinetic typography will develop some information tools such as display cellular phone, communication system for deaf-ear person or fundamental design system of multimedia.
