Abstract
Sound elements are one of the essential aspects of Interface, Interaction and Information Design. The goal of this project is to discover how to use sound elements and inspire others in our field about them by using visual elements. We have been considering "the sound is music", defining the smallest measure as "Part" or "Phrase", which includes the harmony and melody, and tries to build new interaction between users and music. At first, we devoloped software called "SOUNDTIPS" that can control the composed parts of an ensemble on the display. This papor will describe the innovative points of "SOUNDTIPS" and the process of its development.
