Abstract
Nagasaki-Aquarium was designed by Motoo-Take Architect and Associate in 1959. The design is known humanism and inflection of materials. They thought local society and environment, the relationship of new technology and Japanese method of architecture. In Nagasaki-Aquarium, the main building was formed horizontally. Goto-ishi (a stone in Goto island, Nagasaki-pref., Japan) put on the wall. The roof and the porch were made by concrete. They are in contrast with the wall. It saves a valuable design.
