So far, xylophone and marimba have been widely used in club activities in schools and musical concerts. As the bars of xylophone, wooden material has been traditionally used. But the types of trees used as the materials of the bars are hardwood from tropical rain forest such as Chinese Quince, Rosewood. These timbers are very expensive and are relatively in shortage throughout the world. Under such circumstances, attempted to produce the bars by compression and molding processes such as Hiba Arbor-vitae. The efforts were continued to fabricate more popular types of products for general use at home. As the frame member to support bars of xylophone, compressed wooden member produced from thinout of the Japanese Cedar forest. Design is simple and warm.
