Abstract
The designs of the hospital rooms of Japanese hospice are entirely uniform and unfriendly. In this study the attitude of 522 people toward the interior design of the room are surveyed. As a result, the information for the investigation to categorize the room designs and the development of the variation, together with the common condition of the design, has been in acquisition. However the surveyer failed to reach the step where they can grasp the relationship between the people's conception and the design factors structurally and another survey is mapped out.
