Human Behavior and Space Formation Elements in Urban Landscape : part1 Research on Space Formation Elements in JR-Nagoya Station

Abstract

In late years, people judge urban structure using sign information at sight and act in the core terminal of unknown where a lot of transportation intersect. In this study, we establish Nagoya station where repaired recently, decide the sign information as study object. We examine about seven characteristics of sign information that classed in three kinds. As a result, the sign information designed which met role, the ceiling hangings type is easy to watch and understand their position immediately, the wall hangings type is much information for grasp the whole.
