Abstract
This research aims to analyze spatial perception through sound application on a two-dimensional map. It intends to show that sound has the ability to induce a person to imagine area space. If similarities can be found on a spatial image through the sound's effect, a common scale of the space can be determined. A survey was performed with this research to determine the image of the distance imagined from the sound. The results of the survey showed a tendency to choose the same scale and distance properties. The research was followed with a simulation of a two-dimensional park map, in which the data results of the space and distance imagined through sound was used. The work intends to establish this research as a tool that promotes active information, such as that of imagination.
