Abstract
As a result of the resrarch on the creative design thinking, it is shown ,as a whole, that forming a new concept at the level with high abstraction level is necessary in the creative thinking. However, it seems difficult to introduce it into the visual image formation from design concept that the abstraction level is high. In this research, the relation between image generation from abstract concept and a creative idea is verified by the experiment, in which a task to make new chair design from higher abstracted concept. As a result, the proposal of the thinking process to genearte more creative design are presented.
