Abstract
The purpose of this study is to propose the system that supports making a concept in design process. Generally, the problem often taken up is a process "How is shape led from the concept". But in this study, It is focused on "How is the concept led from shape". A concept is grasped as a network structure of various knowledge and the experiences. It is thought that the making of a design concept can be supported by the following methods: 1) Designers of a team prepares some idea sketches about the design. 2) They input into the system some key words that signifies a concrete feature of each sketches. 3) The system make it to the abstract concept by structurizing the key words by applying DEMATEL.
