Abstract
Bird Script is a kind of ancient seal scripts originated from the Southern Chinese Continent of the Spring and Autumn / the Warring States Period. Extremely decorated and distorted shapes of Bird Script that are have been considered as merely eccentric variations of letters. But, the complicated shapes of Bird Script can be understood as visual devices similar to ours and even strange figures are related to the historical or ideological background of that age. This is examin of its distortion of shapes and curve in lines of Bird Script.
