Semi-automatic Coloration Based on Color Mixture for Sankey Diagram

Abstract

Sankey diagrams are used to visualize the flow of data or materials in various networks and processes. The purpose of this paper is to propose a technique for coloration and proposes the tool for supporting coloring of a Sankey diagram. In the system, a color of a certain node or path is determined by the mixed color of the incoming colors and quantity for each node. A user only determines the color of source nodes of the flow diagram and can determine the color of other nodes in semiautomatic.
