Abstract
Furniture Fixing is very important as measures of disaster prevention and mitigation for the major earthquake. However, it cannot be said that many people fixed their furniture after having experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake either. This is a research for interior design to stimulate furniture fixing. In this report, we grasped a cause not to fix furniture as basic data by questionary survey. Furthermore, researched the size of furniture in the market and clarified a tendency of the size of various furniture. Through these, we considered some necessary factors for an indoor disaster prevention performance gain by the furniture fixing.
