Abstract
The purpose of this study is proposing the new displays at the museum from the standpoint of universal design. As the first step in our study, we focused our attention on the display for visually impaired. Then we had interview with some curators of local museums and some blind people. The result shows that there are few visually impaired visitors at museums due to lack of care for them with regard to the displays.
