Improvement of Design Projects in Nursing Education

Abstract

In this research, we planned and implemented a design project that sought to develop students’ problem solving skill prior to practical training in hospitals. To evaluate the design project, we analyzed the reports written by the students. The results show that changes could be seen in the following points. (1) The students gained a broad understanding of problems experienced by person with disabilities, and (2) they learned the important points in the development self-help devices.
