Abstract
What others see the region where we live? In this study, based on the inter-local exchange practice we conducted during the first semester in 2011 as a part of “local mysteries” project, we discuss the possibility of deploying the practice into information design. In the practice, first we compared the image of Sapporo held by students residing in Sapporo and those held by students residing in the region other than Sapporo. Then the students made a video clip themed on the true Sapporo they aim to convey by comparing the differences between the images of Sapporo. In the future, we can apply these practices to information design.
