Abstract
When designing a new product, it is important to clarify its value to potential users. Through this research, the authors assumed that subjects can evaluate a product more appropriately when they have higher understanding of product's purpose and benefits. With this assumption, the on-line questionnaire which extracts the difference of the level of understanding about product's purpose and benefits, was conducted and evaluated. As the result, the on-line questionnaire method used in this study increased an understanding level of a product's purpose and benefits in all subjects. Therefore this method could be a useful tool in standardization of the products evaluation process and it also allows the researchers to obtain more accurate product evaluation from the subjects.
