Abstract :For the purpose of grasping those who are hand paralysis, I proposed a simple and portable Universal Jamming Gripper. When the gripper is pressed against the object, it keeps deformed shape along the contour. By using the plastic syringe to suction, and using the band paper, this invention is a compact, lightweight, inexpensive.  If you always carry it with a neck strap, you can made ​​available to the moment. By regarding this development as a case study, we report the current situation and countermeasures  proposals of equipments R&D by cooperation in the medical organization.
