Structuring of the drawing process by flow chart and protocol analysis

Abstract

This paper researches learnings obtained from drawing.The purpose of this study was to clarify  hidden effects of drawing, such as embodied skills, tacit knowledges and so on. To clarify these effects, a process of thinking during making a drawing were investigated. I did experiment about drawing by myself, to find out the structure of drawing process. By structuring drawing process through the flow chart and protocol analysis based on the experimental data, I validated and modified the mind model about drawing.
