In this research, we planned and evaluated a design project that sought to develop students' problem solving skill. The project is composed of the following three phases. (1) The students participated in group discussions and discussed what kinds of activities are difficult these disabled persons. (2) The students create self-help devices and universal playthings. (3) Each student group explained how to use the products that they created. To evaluate the design project, we analyzed the products created by students and pre- and post-tests. The results showed educational effects of the project.
